At Special Coffee, we recognize the essential role of women in the coffee industry. That’s why we have developed a training and education program focused on the different processes involved in coffee production.
Through this initiative, we have trained coffee-growing communities in the municipalities of Baraya, Algeciras, Oporapa, La Urraca, San Andrés Tello, Patías, and San Agustín, all located in the department of Huila, Colombia. A large part of the participants are women — strong, dedicated, and passionate individuals whose work greatly contributes to the growth of the coffee sector and the well-being of their families.
We are deeply grateful to these incredible women who, with their effort and determination, continue to strengthen Huila’s coffee culture. At Special Coffee, we will keep working to support their progress and honor their invaluable role in every cup we share with the world.
